Bake Sale Bars
Easy
Peanut Butter Cup
Bars One
& 1/2 C. Graham cracker crumbs
One & 1/2 C. peanut butter
2 sticks butter or margarine
1 box white powered sugar
6 oz. chocolate chips
Mix crumbs &
sugar. Melt peanut butter and 1 1/2
stick butter. Comebine with crumb
mixture.
Spread into a 9x12 buttered pan. Press into pan
firmly. Melt remaining butter & chocolate chips
using low heat.
Pour over crumb mixture. Cool & set. Cut
into bars.
Caramel
Pecan Bars yellow cake mix
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 C toffee candy bar crushed pieces
1/3 C margarine (softened)
1 C pecans
1 can sweetened condensed milk
powdered sugar (optional)
Mix cake mix, egges, and margarine. Will be
crumbly. Press into a 9X13 pan. Mix
egg, vanilla, toffee pieces, pecans, and milk. Pour
toffee mixture over crust. Bake 350 for 30-35
minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.
Chewy O
Bars 1/2 C. butter or margarine
1 pkg. yellow OR devils food cake mix
3 C. mini marshmallows
1 6 0z. pkg. chocolate OR butterscotch chips
3 C. oat circle cereal
14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
Heat over to 350.
Melt butter in a 15 X 10 X 1 inch pan.
Sprinkle dry cake mix over butter.
Sprinkle with marshmallows, chips & cereal.
Pour milk evenly over the top.
Bake for approx. 25 minutes or until golden brown.
While warm, use knife to loosed edges.
Cool.
Cut into bars.
Makes about 30 bars
Chocolate Chip Bars 2 3/4 C
flour
1 # brown sugar
12 oz chocolate chips
3 eggs
2/3 C shortening
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix together flour, baking powder, &
salt. In a mixer, cream
together shortening, brown sugar, and eggs.
Add flour mixture gradually. Add chips. Pour into a
9X13 pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350.
