More Bake Sale Ideas

What else can you sell along with your bake sale goodies?

You don't need to limit your bake sale to strickly food items.   Other items that sell well along with a bake sale are homemade dishcloths, kitchen towels, crocheted towel holders, handmade trivets, candles, and cookbooks.   If you have a person who crochets in your group, enlist her services to make crocheted dishcloths for the sale.   Another option would be to purchase inexpensive dishclothes or towels and re-package them by folding neatly and tying them with a pretty ribbon.   Use ribbon colors connected with an upcoming holiday.

Again, these are simply other ideas.    It's up to you to manage your sale and keep it as simple or as diverse as you would like.  Perhaps one time try your sale without the "add-ons" and another time do a sale with them.   Compare your total sales and ask for feedback from your group members and buyers.

Church group type cookbooks are often a big hit.   These cookbooks carry some of the best of the best tried and true family recipes.  Everyone likes to share their best recipe and group cookbooks are a great way to bring great cooking minds together.    Be sure to carefully review each company's policies and pricing.
